Phase 1: Open Application

École Saint-Landry has 96 available spots for the 2021-2022 school year (48 K and 48 1st grade). The  window to apply will open on February 1, 2021 and close on March 31, 2021 at 5:00PM.

Phase 2a: Open Enrollment (current phase)

If fewer than 96 students (48 K and 48 1st grade) have applied by 5:00PM on March 31, all students who have applied will be granted admission to the school. Any students who apply after March 31, 2021 at 5:00PM will be admitted to the school on a first-come, first-serve basis until all seats are filled. Those who apply after all seats are full will be placed on a numbered waiting list.

Phase 2b: Lottery (will not occur for the 2021-2022 school year)

If more than 96 students (48 K and 48 1st grade) apply by March 31 at 5:00PM, a lottery will be held the first week of April 2021. Applicants will be selected by random computer drawing for available seats.  Applicants not selected will be placed on a numbered wait list.

Whether you've never heard of French immersion or you're already convinced that it's a perfect fit, our meet and greets can help guide you to make the best decision for your child.

When attending one of our many meetings, you'll learn how your child could benefit from an education in French immersion, plus members of the École Saint-Landry team will be on hand to answer any questions you may have.

Immersion is not just for high-performing students. Children with a wide range of backgrounds and abilities can benefit from the immersion experience. The key to success is the child’s motivation, attitude and interest, as well as parental support.

Immersion has proven to promote:
• High Academic Achievement
• High levels of bilingualism and biliteracy
• Multiculturalism and Interculturalism

Our meetings will discuss: the benefits of immersion, a typical day in an immersion school, the mission and vision of École Saint-Landry, our facilities plan, transportation, and more!

All interested parents are encouraged to attend one of our meetings.

We will be hosting several meet and greets over the next two months. Five will be in person at our starter site, and two will be virtual. If you have a Facebook account, you can get more information and follow the event at
