Do you ever modify existing 3D models before printing, like changing poses or adding custom bases? What software do you use for that?

Yeah, I tweak almost every model I print. Moving limbs in Meshmixer feels like digital surgery, and I always add custom bases so miniatures don’t tip over. Blender is my go to for heavy changes like reposing a character from standing to crouching, but sometimes I just need a quick hollow and drain hole which Meshmixer handles in seconds. About two years ago I started downloading files from https://www.gambody.com/ and noticed their models already come pre supported and sliced really clean, so I stopped messing with poses there and only add nameplates or terrain bases in Tinkercad. It saved me a lot of failed prints because messing up a joint can ruin the whole balance. My advice is always keep the original STL saved before you edit, so you can go back if your modifications get messy. Little changes like rotating an arm five degrees can suddenly make supports much easier.
