GRADING DOCUMENTS

Kindergarten & 1st Grade

Our school does a Standards Based Grading report card for kindergarten and 1st grade in the following subjects: English Language Arts, French Language Arts, and Math. To learn more about the benefits of Standards Based Grading and what your child's report card grades mean, please review the documents below: 

For the subjects of Social Science, PE, Music, Art, and Conduct, students receive a grade of S (Satisfactory), N (Needs Improvement) or U (Unsatisfactory)

Grade 2 and Up

Letter grades of A, B, C, D, or F will be earned in ELA and Mathematics. ELA includes all English Language Arts (reading, writing, listening, speaking, grammar) and French Language Arts (reading, writing, listening, speaking, grammar).

 

A = 93% - 110%

B = 85% - 92% 

C = 75% - 84%

D = 67% - 74%

F = 0% - 66%

All other subjects (Science, Social Studies, P.E. and/or Arts) will be graded with O (Outstanding), S (Satisfactory), G (Good), N (Need Improvement), or U (Unsatisfactory).  

O = 93% - 110%

S = 85% - 92% 

G = 75% - 84%

N = 67% - 74%

U = 0% - 66%
