Open Enrollment Application

The lottery application window for the 2026-2027 school year at our tuition-free French immersion public school clsoed on January 1, 2026. We still have seats available for Kindergarten and 1st grade, as well as for 3rd grade for children who can pass a French proficiency exam, and for our 5th grade Accelerated Late Immersion class (no French background required).

Please DO NOT complete this application if your child already attends our school.

If you have more than one child for whom you'd like to submit applications, please complete a separate application for each child.

Student Information

As per state law, a student must be 5 (five) no later than September 30, 2026 to begin Kindergarten.

École Saint-Landry is open to all students living in St. Landry Parish. If you do not have proof of address in St. Landry Parish and you have not requested and been approved for a transfer from your home parish, your application will be rejected.

2 different proofs of address are required for application. Accepted proof is a utility bill, landline phone bill, cable bill, internet bill, property tax bill, mortgage statement, bank statement, or voting card. (Not accepted: driver's license, health insurance bill, cell phone bill.)

If you are currently homeless or living at a residence with someone else and no bills are in your name, please contact the school at ssavoy@ecolestlandry.org for assistance.
