Saint Landry Parish buses provide transportation services to and from campus for about 50% of our Écoliers.

Use this É-Guide to learn about buses, find routes, confirm timetables, get your driver's name and phone, and confirm École's Policy and Terms.

Use the following subsections to confirm pre-departure requirements and École's terms and conditions of use, which you accept as a Parent and User of this site.

Pre-Departure

Saint Landry Parish School Board (SLPSB.org) requires parents to complete this form for each passenger (student) seeking and participating in bus services:

Drivers are provided passenger lists by SLPSB and your student may be turned away until this form is completed.

École's bus transportation, drivers, routes, stops, timetables, and related services are defined and managed by the Transportation Department at Saint Landry Parish School Board. Thanks to SLPSB, buses run free of charge morning and afternoon throughout the parish, to and from École.

Terms & Conditions

Parent(s) agree to complete SLPSB's transportation form as a requirement already outlined in Pre-Departure prior to attempting to board a bus for service • Parent(s) agree to keep each child's/Écolier's iTag on a fixed handle of their book sack and to encourage proper care of the Écolier's iTag • Parent(s) accept that illegible or damaged iTags may require replacement and École reserves the right to charge a fee for replacements ($10/iTag) as needed • Drivers, buses, space, seats, and services are subject to availability • Écoliers living within 1 mile of École may not be eligible for bus transportation services. Parent(s) agrees to exclusively use their bus' designated satellite stop(s) for AM Pick-Up (mornings) and PM Drop-Off (afternoons) • Each Bus Driver reserves the right to withhold release of a student to any person who is not authorized for PM Drop-Off • Each Bus Driver reserves the right to dismiss any Écolier(s) into the custody of law enforcement at a local police station to be chosen at the discretion of the Bus Driver

Tips

Parents can practice get privacy habits and improve safety by keeping iTags out of sight when not in use. The iTag's number and transportation details are cross-checked for when fulfilling requests for early check out and pick up (dismissal). Hang or display your iTag in your vehicel when queued up for dismissal. Store your iTag in a console or glove compartment and place your Écoliers' book sacks out of view when not in use.

iTags

At École, every Écolier has an iTag.

Each iTag should always be attached to a fixed handle on the Écolier's book sack, to prevent loss and help the iTag stay in good working condition.

The bus route you select for each Écolier is displayed on their book sack's iTag, so it can be referenced by drivers as needed and by campus staff during afternoon dismissal.

Each of our six (6) bus routes is known by its zone name and an animal name in Louisiana French, such as Arnaudville and Loups.
