Use this É-Guide as a handy reference to common Terminologies used repeatedly throughout this website, in our branding, in communications, and in formal documentation—including our É-Guides, Policies, and Terms.


Pronouns such as we, us, and our, are used by and in reference to École. The pronouns you and your refer to you, the User.

As a rule of thumb, Terminologies are words or phrases formatted in bold and black in color, but bold and blue when linked to a part of a page (or different page) on École's website. For example, click Glossary to jump to Table 0 below or É-Guides to explore all É-Guides.

Article(s)

Articles are categories or groups of clothing items used to identify parts of an approved uniform such as dresses, tops (polos, spiritwear), and bottoms (pants, shorts, skirts, skorts, and more) • See examples in Table 1 of École's Policy on Uniforms, Spares & Loaners.

bonContact(s)

"good contacts" • Membre(s) and contacts whose name, phone number, and email are provided by you and assigned to one or more Écoliers as an authorized person for requests related but not limited to early check-out (during school hours) and Dismissal

iTags display an Écolier's iTag Number and the Écolier's transportation (default) during Dismissal • For Parent(s), iTags are kept in the vehicle and displayed only during Dismissal

Lion Care

Lion Care is a paid service that Parents can opt into or be required to pay for when arriving early or late to campus • Learn more in our É-Guide on Lion Care

Loaner(s)

Loaners are Articles (tops, bottoms, dresses) loaned to an Écolier after a bathroom accident and in the absence of a Spare • Parents are required to wash and return Loaners within 48 hours or 2 school days • Learn more in our É-Guide on Uniforms, Spares & Loaners
